, managing partner, is a journalist specializing in digital media management and strategy. She guided two major Arizona news Web sites –
azcentral.com and
eastvalleytribune.com – from infancy to their established positions today as top-tier news and information sites in the metropolitan Phoenix market. She moved into information marketing and digital media after a successful career as an editor and manager in the newspaper division of Phoenix Newspapers Inc., parent company of The Phoenix Gazette (closed in 1997) and The Arizona Republic. Her digital media experience includes launching commercial business-to-consumer Web sites for Circle K convenience stores and 76 gasoline , and the continuing development of an online directory serving the needs of retailers and suppliers in the convenience store industry. She holds an MBA from Arizona State University and bachelors degree from Angelo State University, San Angelo, TX. She is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University, teaching online media in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
, managing partner, spent the past six years as the top editor of azcentral.com, Arizona's largest news Web site and the online home of The Arizona Republic, NBC affiliate KPNX-TV and the Spanish-language weekly La Voz. He was in charge of news content on azcentral for four years before that, having moved into the digital world after 14 years in a variety of editing jobs for The Arizona Republic and its sister paper, The Phoenix Gazette. He is the founder of the Best of the West journalism contest and grants program, and he serves on the advisory board for the University of Colorado journalism school. He holds a master's degree from the University of Sussex in England and bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has taught editing classes as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University since 1990.
